My name is Hristo Georgiev. For a long time ago I have been interesting in modern carpfishing. For a first time I tried this technique in 1991 but the results were contradictory. The carp bit only at the corn mounted on hair-rig, not at the boilies I bought. It was happened a few years and I had no peace. The question was “Why the fish in the lakes in the other countries eat the boilies, but here not? Did they know they are here in Bulgaria?”

I started corresponding with other carpers from Serbia. They cought also fish at boilies and they said me, that the cheap boilies I buy for was not the properly decision. They do not attract the carp.

During the summer in 1998 I downloaded some recipes and began to carry out experiments. But it created new problem – some of the components didn’t import or it was hard to find them on the Bulgarian market. The way was I to import them by myself. Year by year the recipes reduced to four kinds, which worked all over the lakes. Than I made a quantity of boilies to my friends in Serbia and asked them to test in carpfishing. It was a challenge for me, because the carp there got used to it. Did the boilies work in Serbia, not only here in Bulgaria?

The fishermen in Serbia were very satisfied with the results. So and I. But some questions raised again and I sent 10kg mix to a friend of mine, who has lived in Germany from many years. Later he sent me pictures of himself with some carp with weight between 10 and 13.500kg, caught with the boilies, made by my mix.

This fact made me believe that these boilies worked not only in Bulgaria, but also everywhere. In 2006 I sent some dips, mixes and aroma to a Bulgarian, who has lived in Spain. You can see in the gallery photos of his fisher outing.
